After seeing several posts about the recent move to a brick and mortar location I was hyped to check out Gordo's. The flavors hit the mark (great birria) and overall we enjoyed our meal. There were only two issues. My burger was a bit of a mess, with toppings spilling out after each bite. It was difficult to keep it all together. Also, the burrito was fairly wet from the jump and started to fall apart halfway through eating it. Not a deal breaker, we'll try other options next time.

Got the loaded fries w/chicken and steak torts. Both were absolutely delicious. 10/10 will definitely recommend

My go to are the Quesabirria tacos, they are very filling and flavorful. The soft served margaritas were also delicious! Only place in Lynchburg that has these. They were refreshing and the presentation of the drinks were so cute! Hopefully they’ll do combo meals in the future though. $15 for 3 tacos with no drink and no side is kinda crazy but I still enjoy the food.

Let me tell you about the BEST FOOD at Ignite Mens Christian Conference! The tacos were probably the best tacos I've ever had and the Tres Leches? Absolutely incredible. The rice? PERFECT. The food was so good it made me wanna cry. This is the best Mexican food I've probably ever had and I've had a lot over the last 13 years. The staff were really friendly and nice people. I live 3.5 hours away and I would drive JUST FOR THE FOOD, and I probably will at some point this summer! One of the best experiences I've had. This isn't fast food, it's got character and love wrapped up in it. P.S - the prices are great, and I bought a lot of food!

El Gordo's is incredible! I can't believe I'm just eating here, but so glad I did. I ordered around 2:00 on a Thursday. There was no one in line. Surprisingly it took 14 minutes to get my food, so you may want to be sure you have a little time to spare. When she called out my name and I grabbed my food, she said sorry but I'm not sure why. Maybe it was sitting for a few minutes without her calling it out? I was standing right by the truck only a few feet from the window and I was completely visible. I'll definitely be going back so I'll see what the wait is like then. I ordered a steak quesadilla Gordo's way which adds pico de gallo and cilantro lime sauce. It was a styrofoam tray with foil and tied up in a plastic bag. There were no utensils or napkins in the bag so maybe you are supposed to ask for them or grab it from the shelf on the front of the truck? My food was still hot when I got home 5 minutes later. When I first opened the tray I noticed the quesadilla is really large! The top two pieces were a bit floppy and I couldn't really pick them up with my hands too well, but the bottom two I could hold and eat with my hands.
